I'm now in a team of 4 responsible in producing data analytics that would help the department further the financial inclusion agenda of the country. Some of my innovations at work include:
- Web scraping of job portal reviews and Lowyat forum threads to assess performances of Malaysian development finance institutions.
- Geo-spatial mapping via use of Google Maps API to evaluate the impact of bank branch closure to surrounding population.
- Visual analytics through Tableau.

I facilitated Design Thinking bootcamps in Genovasi, a sister institute of Stanford University's d.school. I helped set up sessions and at times participated in classes to assess course delivery.
The 5 stages of Design Thinking are still relevant to me be it in project planning at work or product design for startup ideas.
September 2014 - June 2017
My 3rd year courses: Political Economics, Monetary Economics and Industrial Economics. Market competition and regulations are my favorite topics.
I've progressed fairly quickly in Spanish, having graduated with an equivalent of B2 in my 2 years of formal learning, thanks to the 2 impassionate teachers that are Mercedes Coca and Lourdes Hernandez.
Learn about the Spanish community in London from an interview I've conducted in my 2nd year!
I love taking street photographs because they are never the same: the fleeting moments I capture are transitory and live only once, yet they are given life again through my lens. The epiphany came in my very first Spanish class in LSE, when I saw the photo The Falling Soldier by the late Robert Capa and marvelled at how thought-provoking it was. The other great Magnum photographers like Bruce Gilden and Chien Chi Chang have also continued to inspire me until today.
